His Holiness the Dalai Lama has blessed the site in 2002.  During his 2007 visit to Deer Park he walked through the temple, said prayers, and gave a talk to a small audience.  In 2008, His Holiness will again return and have a formal blessing ceremony.  Geshe Sopa's dream is now a reality.  Generations of students will continue to study and practice the Buddhist principles of compassion, kindness, generosity, and pursue an understanding of the laws of karma.

Cash and cash-equivalent contributions such as donations of stock are by far our primary need at present. However, there are a number of ways to support this project.
